Where the birds sing, the bees hum and the tall trees sway in the gentle breeze...relax!

Take sanctuary and bloom far from the bitter cold wind and hammering rain in the warm, sweet-smelling treatment room, where you can hear the birds sing as they begin to nest in the garden again, flowers are budding in a myriad of beautiful colours...waves gently crash on the shore and you gently drift away into a blissful slumber...

Listen to the bees, the birdsong and the waves whilst being cocooned in sweet smelling essential oils (prescribed especially for your individual holistic needs and requirements - mind, body and soul) and drift into a soft slumber in an oasis of peace and tranquility - idyllic surroundings with free, off-road parking, easy and convenient...

I worked for the NHS for 18years as a secretary/PA whilst studying in the evening at The Sheffield School of Beauty and Holistics, qualifying as a VTCT Dip 3 aromatherapist (enabling me to prescribe and blend essential oils), in 2008.  I opened Bloom Sanctuary in 2009, here in Tytherington, Cheshire and am insured with a professional body as an Associate of the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists) and can therefore provide you with a valid receipt so you can claim through your insurance.  I began my Reiki journey in 2007 and qualified as a Reiki Master/Teacher in 2013; I have lots of amazing stories about Reiki and can talk about it all day long, so just check out my Reiki page for information!

I began the Corporate Wellbeing Days at East Cheshire Trust (Macclesfield Hospital) in 2012 and these are still just as popular as ever, almost 12 years on, with hospital staff being so grateful for the time out to destress and empty their mind for a short while during their working day!  One lovely lady said, "I cannot adequately put into words just how much I have benefitted from these sessions, so here's some flowers instead!"   Onsite massage for staff to help de-stress and decrease stress absence.

I started work as a Spa Therapist at Mottram Hall early in 2018 and had training there with Espa and Elemis; then Champneys took over in 2019 and I had extensive training with them also, gaining respect and experience with Senior Spa Therapist status.

Since late 2022 I have focussed solely on Bloom Sanctuary, where I now have time to look after our large garden and listen to the birds sing and the bees hum for myself on days off!                                                                                ~
